from across India!

A space that aims to feature underrepresented Recipes, Recipe Books from communities located across India and Food Memories, a series of interviews on how community food traditions & memories are retained in the modern-day context.

A list of curated timelines of region-wise cuisines and their histories with the cookbook. Since there is a lack of a database documenting the chronology of the cookbook publication, we have chosen to curate timelines to fill in these gaps, so far we have 8 timelines. Take a look at our Bengali Cookbook Timeline.

 An interactive map of India tagged with our growing collection of contemporary community cookbooks of India (post-1990s liberalization). This reflects the spatial distribution of modern Indian cookbooks across India, where the density of cookbook publications can be sought in relation to location.
